In the complex of Mokranjac's birth house, in the building with the entrance from the central city zone, Negotin got a new, representative cultural space \u2013 The Art Salon of the Cultural House "Stevan Mokranjac".<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In the heart of the city, The Art Salon became available to the public immediately after the opening ceremony of the 59th. Wet days. As a new cultural hub of Negotin, it will have a significant role in promoting art and preserving the cultural identity of our city.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

At the opening ceremony of this space, the audience saw the first in a series, The Exhibition of Native artists Negotin, which symbolically begins its mission to support Krajina creators and their presentation to the public.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The interior decoration of The Art Salon was made possible by The Elixir Foundation and the Stevan Mokranjac Cultural Center. The Art Salon of the Cultural Center "Stevan Mokranjac" was opened by Margareta Musi\u0107, director of the Elixir Foundation.<\/div>\n
Elixir Foundation is happy to support the initiative of the Cultural Center for the reconstruction of this area, as a partner of the community, a friend of culture, art, children and young people, a good neighbor to its fellow citizens. The creativity of the negotin artists has given new life to this area for which I am grateful. This Art Salon of native creators connected different artistic manuscripts, time, thinking and energy. I believe that this will become another gathering place on the cultural map of Negotin that will fill the views of visitors with the most beautiful experience of Krajina and Negotin. I wish the artists a horizon filled with light that will be a new inspiration and illuminate the time before us \u2013 because, as they say, Arg Longa, Vita Brevis! - said Margareta Music, Director of the Elixir Foundation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This gallery, designed as an exhibition space, will also be a place of meetings, workshops, lectures and educational programs for children and youth, providing young artists with an incentive for development and direction.<\/div>\n
